About Rise Above
Our Team
Our Founder
Meet Michelle
LPC, CFRC, ACS, NCC
I began to pursue my ultimate dream of becoming a therapist in the mental health field after working in public and higher education for nearly a decade. While my counseling career started in group practice settings, it ultimately led to me founding Rise Above LLC in the summer of 2024.
I truly believe that you are not defined by your circumstances, but by your ability to rise above them. I share this with my clients who typically range from adolescents to adults and are experiencing a variety of symptoms affecting their moods and overall functioning. Common presenting concerns include school/work stress, relational issues, past traumas, and life transitions. As a certified first responder counselor, I also support individuals whose lives are impacted by their work in such roles.
With each client, I strive to support their unique journey of personal growth and the development of resilience in their lives. Whether my clients have a difficult time accepting their pasts, living in the present, or embracing what is yet to come, I'm here to listen to their stories and take the next steps with them toward whatever their goals may be.
I hope to have the opportunity to work together with you as you gain insight into your current concerns and empower you to lead a healthier, more productive life.

Rebecca Tritt
MA, LPC, LCADC, SAC
Hi, I’m Rebecca Tritt, MA, LPC, LCADC, SAC. I’m a dual-certified therapist, licensed as both a Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC)
I bring over a decade of experience in mental health and substance use treatment across diverse clinical settings, including residential programs, intensive outpatient care, and school-based services for high school students. I work with youth, young adults, and adults to help them navigate life’s challenges with resilience and clarity.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, identity concerns, substance use, grief, or stress, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can safely explore your feelings and begin building the tools you need to thrive. I support students who need help with focus, executive functioning, or school avoidance, as well as adults seeking insight and healing in their personal or professional lives.
In my clinical approach, I believe in being direct and honest while offering clarity, compassion, and practical strategies. My work is collaborative, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. My ultimate goal as a therapist is to foster wellness and resilience, guiding individuals toward healthier, more fulfilling lives. I understand that reaching out for help can feel difficult — but it’s also a powerful first step toward meaningful change. If you’re ready to take that step, I’m here to walk alongside you and help you build lasting skills for growth and well-being.
