What We Do

Our Service

Our Offering

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a supportive space for children, teens, and adults navigating life stressors, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace. Treatment is tailored to each individual, integrating evidence-based approaches while honoring each person’s unique background and goals. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and foster emotional resilience. Therapy focuses on helping clients process the past, feel more grounded in the present, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced future.

WHERE WE BEGIN

The Intake &
Diagnostic Session

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. You’ll have the opportunity to share your concerns, goals, and any relevant history at a pace that feels comfortable. We may ask some questions to better understand your experiences and current needs, but there is no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. We’ll also review logistics, confidentiality, and answer any questions you may have. The goal is to create a safe, supportive foundation for our work together.

  • Starting the Conversation

We begin with a relaxed, open conversation to help you feel comfortable and heard. You’re invited to share what brings you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping to work towards. This is a space to start building trust and connection at your own pace.

  • Gaining a Clearer Picture

We’ll gently explore your background, including emotional, relational, and mental health history, to better understand your current challenges. We may ask specific questions about symptoms, patterns, and past experiences to get a clearer clinical picture. This helps ensure that care is thoughtful, accurate, and tailored to your needs.

  • Planning Next Steps

Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy and what you’d like to work toward. We’ll discuss a general approach to treatment and what ongoing sessions may look like. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction and next steps for moving forward.

For Children & Teens

Family Sessions

Family and parent sessions provide a supportive space to strengthen communication, improve relationships, and navigate challenges together. These sessions are helpful for families experiencing conflict, life transitions, behavioral concerns, or parenting stress. We work collaboratively to understand each family member’s perspective and build healthier patterns of interaction. Parents are also supported in developing effective strategies to respond to their child’s emotional and behavioral needs. The goal is to create a more connected, balanced, and supportive family dynamic.

With the Client

When the identified client is present, sessions focus on supporting their emotional needs while also strengthening family communication and understanding. Parents and family members are guided in real-time to respond in ways that promote connection, validation, and healthy boundaries.

Without the Client

When meeting with parents or family members alone, sessions focus on providing guidance, insight, and practical strategies to support the client outside of session. This space allows caregivers to openly discuss concerns, ask questions, and build confidence in their approach without placing pressure on the client.
